John Brault, MS



Mr. Brault holds a professional license in Kinesiological Electromyography and previously managed the Biomechanics Laboratory at Centinela Medical Center under the direction of Dr. Frank Jobe where he performed biomechanics research on running, walking, throwing, and lifting activities. Mr. Brault is currently an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Southern California where he collaborates in the Musculoskeletal Biomechanics Research Laboratory (MBRL). Over the past 20 years his research focus has been on human motion and forces in motor vehicles, seat belt effectiveness, walkway safety, and footwear. Mr. Brault has received multiple awards from ASTM International for his research and contributions to development of walkway standards. Having performed more than 3000 technical investigations for the legal community in the field of forensic biomechanics, Mr. Brault has extensive courtroom testifying experience.
